II.) Previous Events:

     A.) Movies

          1.) Ghostbusters: It was funny and enjoyable!

          2.) Star Trek Beyond: It was awesome!! Villain was flat, but then came around in the end.

          3.) Batman: The Killing Joke: Unnecessary Bat Sex; otherwise, good adaptation of graphic novel

          4.) Legend of Tarzan: Shirtless Alexander Skarsgård; decent retelling of legend

     B.) WolfCon: Low attendance, but decent for their first summer con

     C.) Ren Faire:

          1.) Good weather, but no group photo!

          2.) Three tickets left for purchase—contact Doc ASAP!

 III.) Upcoming Events:

     A.) Suicide Squad

          1.) Thursday 8:00 PM – Alyssa is in charge of tickets.  Arrive by 7:30 PM

          2.) Friday 5:15 PM – Doc is in charge of tickets.  Arrive by 4:45 PM

     B.) GENCON: Anyone going?

     D.) Chaparral Game Day – Tuesday, August 30^th, 2:30-6:00pm

          1.) We hope to use this event to recruit new members.

          2.) Games, consoles, and GMs needed!

     E.) Student Life Activity Faire – Wednesday, August 31^st, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM—VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO STAFF THE TABLE!!!

     F.) Club meetings will be back to every other Tuesday as of next month: 3:00 – 4:30 PM, room still TBA (but hopefully BIC 1630).

     A.) Advisor’s Report:

          1.) COD 50^th Anniversary Retro Game Day: Aiming for late Feb/early March to help promote CODCON

          2.) Operation Supply Drop: looking for donations of games, consoles, and accessories to send to the troops overseas

     B.) CODCON: Theme change?

     C.) Rants, Gossip, & Trailers
